I have a few questions concerning R/O D/I water.

1. where i live i cant hook up a r/o/d/i unit and local lfs's dont sell r/o water can i just buy my water from the vending machine at wal-mart and use it?

2. can i use my tap water and either let it sit a day or two prior to use so the chlorine disapates?

3. should i treat it with water conditiners?

4. would a filter for camping hooked up to my outside hose help at all? A fellow friend who use to have a saltwater system had sucess with them he said.

Where do you live? Because most RO/DI units can be hooked up to your washing machine or sink.  Im going to give you a link to a video on how to filter tap water if you can not get RO water. Click here to see my YouTube video. This video should answer all your questions.
