I have recently started using purple up once everyday and it seems to be working.  My tank has grown a considerable amount of purple coraline algae.  And my corals seem to be growing as well.  I will continue to test it out and see how it is effecting my tank.

I have found purple up to be waste of money. I believe it has stuff that is not necessary for a healthy tank.  Just use regular supplements to keep a happy healthy aquarium.

Ive used purple up , if It had stuff in it that would hurt my tank I was un aware of it, and it didnt seem to have any negative effect. at first I assumed it was working when my newly purchased live rock started showing signs of purple but months after I stopped using it the growth even increased. so it was probably just nature kicking in and not so much the "purpleup"
